They are under the false impression that if the engine breathes better and gets rid of the unwanted exhaust fumes faster, they will go faster . . . Credit goes to Jerry Branch, the genius of Flowmetrics to understand how back pressure is needed to scavenge the unburned portion of fuel back into the combustion chamber to create more horsepower.

IT REALLY WORKS!

PROBLEM: Harley riders & custom exhaust pipe manufacturers like PIPE DREAMZ, want the clean, cool looks and hot sound of straight pipes.

SOLUTION: Torque cones, (power cones, torque valves) a small 2” funnel style venturi valve that provides the correct back pressure by creating a tube constricted in the middle and flared on the end. This operates on the principle that the exhaust velocity will increase and it’s back pressure decreases when passing through the torque valve. At low speeds, the taper in the valve increases back pressure resulting in increased low RPM power and torque. At high speeds, the venturi effect created by the torque valve increases exhaust gas velocity. This maximizes engine power by increasing the rate at which the exhaust gases are drawn from the exhaust ports. *

*SIMPLER EXPLANATION: Picture your garden hose in your driveway WITHOUT a nozzle, and the water turned on full blast. As you can see, the water does come out at a strong steady stream.

Now, picture the same water hose with a spray nozzle attached (Venturi Valve). Watch the water blast out with 3 times the pressure! Same exact principal with your exhaust! The average Sportster or Dyna exhaust exits the cylinder in a cyclone circle, hugging the inside of the pipe and reverberating back and forth, up and down the exhaust pipe 6 to 12 times BEFORE EXITING! This clogs the system and actually slows your bike!

PIPE DREAMZ strongly recommend using torque cones on any Sporty or Dyna with straight pipes, or any Sporty or Dyna with long pipes or mufflers.

Sportster 2 into 2 XR Style System

This tunable SuperTrapp 2 into 2 system is the offspring of our flat track racing systems. It allows a rider to bolt on a 10% horsepower increase to their stock 883 model and over 20% horsepower gains on a stock 1200. The Sportster 2 into 2 XR Style System features brushed stainless steel head pipes and megaphones. The megaphone design allows the exhaust gas to expand, which increases power while the discs allow the rider to control how much flow they want.

It has 02 EXHAUST sensor ports installed to utilize stock sensors on fuel injected models and also includes plugs for the ports when used on carbureted models.

The Sportster 2 into 2 XR Style System is equipped with a completely rebuildable core and packing to save riders time and money. Optional open end caps are available for closed course competition.

SuperTrapp's tunable disc technology allows riders to add 4" discs to increase horsepower, exhaust tone and flow, or riders can remove 4" discs to reduce sound and increase low-end torque. The 2 into 2 system comes with twenty-four 4" discs allowing the rider to utilize twelve discs in each muffler. Additional discs are sold separately.

For ultimate durability, the exhaust system bracket is mounted to the transmission allowing it to move with the rubber-mounted motor.

All returns are subject to a 20-30% RESTOCKING FEE! No exceptions! All returns must be approved by DAB management and must have an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Any returns without RMA # will be refused and returned to the customer.

All orders for custom (made to order) parts, special order parts, including exhaust and specialty parts that have long delivery times 2-10 weeks or more, ARE FINAL AND CANNOT BE CANCELED. If there are any questions regarding the delivery times of custom parts; please contact a DAB Representative by e-mail for delivery times before you order. parts@dumbassbiker.com

Any part that has a manufacturer’s defect will be returned to the manufacturer for replacement. The manufacturer has sole discretion in defect issues; we will do everything possible to expedite these return issues.

Any return issues must be brought to the attention of DAB within 72 hours of receiving the item.

All refunds will be made to the original purchaser and funds will be returned only in the method they were paid minus applicable fees/shipping charges.

We list everything we know about a part, If you have other questions, contact manufacture or e-mail us and we will attempt to find an answer, allow 2-3 days for responce.

With over 1,000,000 parts on the market it is hard to know everthing about every part, If the item states it fits 2000-2006, Please do not ask us if it fits a 1996 model, Fitments are listed from manufacture.

Prices are subject to change daily, while we try to keep current on all prices be aware they may go up or down and will have to be adjusted if that occurs.
