RFID Technology

RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification Device) Dawg Tags are motion activated and will only authorize your Ignition to operate when you are within a set range. Dawg Tags have 4 adjustable range settings from between 2’ – 25’ feet and can be cross-programmed allowing one tag to operate multiple bikes. Don't be mislead by small computer battery claims about high amperage. They weren't designed for engine start applications and have a very high failure rate.

FULL YEAR REPLACEMENT WARRANTY RETAIL $141.05 Many frames only leave enough room for Big Boar's Mini 300 battery that contains 200 Cold Cranking Amps in a 6-inch-long, 3-1/2-inch-wide, by 5-1/4-inch-tall package.

Big Boar's Mini 300 is the smallest battery in the line, but still capable of 200 Cold Cranking Amps, which Aaron Dills claims is more than enough to start any 100-inch RevTech. "Our Mini 300 will turn-over 100-inch RevTechs all day long, but I wouldn't want to push it beyond that." A typical aftermarket high-torque starter can easily pull about 300 amps, and some high-performance applications can make a starter draw nearly 500 amps under severe conditions.

100% new components, precision designed, performance tested, OE level quality. Double wound armature that is insulated to resist temperatures reaching 180 degrees Celsius, 356 Fahrenheit. All armatures are high-voltage tested, balanced and equipped with a NSK bearing.

Field coil assembly has pure copper windings, high temperature insulation and is high voltage tested.

Each unit includes a heavy duty clutch, precision gear reduction system resulting in the required starting torque. Our lubrication is capable of meeting temperatures of -40ú C to +200ú C (-40ú F to +392ú F). All are 100% load tested to meet or exceed original equipment specifications.

Warranty

Xemco starter motors have been carefully tested and inspected before every shipment and are warranted to be free of defect in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve months from date of installation. Xemco will, at its option, repair or replace a starter motor witch fails due to defects in material or workmanship under normal use and service during the warranty period. Each unit will have the detail of warranty on the unit.

ALL BALLS starter motors are manufactured with all new components that have been fine-tuned for starting the H-D V-Twin engine. Our clutches utilize 20% oversize rollers, and the idler gears are manufactured from cold-headed steel. End frames are cold-chamber die cast and machined on precision fixtures. Armature hairpins are resistance-fused to the commutator. All starters are supplied with a 10/32 threaded output shaft, and a conversion bolt for the earlier 1/4-20 threaded output shafts to cover all Big Twins from 1989 thru 2005.

A great stock replacement unit that also works well with big-cube engines with compression releases.

This starter is currently starting 124ci engines with compression releases.

The 1.4kW design utilizes a coil-wound motor assembly, meaning that the motor field coils are copper wound.

ALL BALL 1.7KW

The ALL BALLS 1.7kW motor is a good solution for big-cube or hard-starting motors as long as 4ga battery cables are used to reduce voltage losses, and the battery is at least 300CCA.

This design utilizes a permanent-magnet motor coupled to the OE-style offset gear reduction design that generates high output and torque in a small package.

The starter is no larger than the H-D 1.2kW unit and fits into all Big Twin applications.

The issue with any permanent-magnet motor is that the in-rush currents are higher until the starter armature begins to spin.

(It is harder on a battery than a coil wound motor.) It is not a good solution for a "bar-hop" bike because there's a chance the charging system will not keep the battery fully charged. IT WILL IF YOU USE A 3 PHASE CHARGING SYSTEM IN CONJUS=CTION WITH IT

The Compu-Fire 40 AMP 3 Phase charging systems provide 25 AMPS at idle and 40 AMPS continuously above 2800 RPM. The unique narrow rotor and stator combination fits Softail/Dyna primary cases and the voltage regulator bolts on without any frame modifications. The precision balanced vented rotor keeps the stator cooler in closed primary systems to maintain maximum output under all high current draw conditions. The large flanged seal spacer provides maximum support for the rotor and the voltage regulator output is calibrated to 14.25 volts from idle on up. 3-phase charging offers more current delivery over traditional 2-phase systems to feed power-hungry accessories like today’s sophisticated EFI systems and other electrical accessories.

Using a highly efficient “series” regulator, the ASM2005 fits all EVO-style motors.

In addition, Thunder Heart has designed the system to utilize standard compensator shaft extensions, negating the need for 3-phase specific compensator shaft components
